About Scientology's Anti-Anonymous Document

Vanonymous has no leaders. We are a collective of concerned citizens, professionals, and students dedicated to bringing to light the crimes of the so-called "Church" of Scientology (CoS). We have met on common ground and have been united under a common goal. Our purpose is simply to educate the public about the truths of the organization behind the so-called "church" and the atrocious crimes against humanity it funds and knowingly takes part in. One thing we feel the public must know... We are not against individual Scientologists. We wear masks to protect our identity from the CoS, which has a policy of ruthlessly attacking its critics through such tactics as slander, harassment, lawsuits and even murder. At the same time Vanonymous recognizes that most Scientologists are just innocent people who wanted to make the world a better place and were seduced and manipulated by this cult into believing Scientology was the key to their aspirations.

The "Church" of Scientology in its current state is a vast money-making scheme under the guise of religion. Everyone has the right to freedom of religion but that religion should be free. The organization behind Scientology is also known for funding rehabilitation programs such as Narcanon, which push a religious mandate on those who come seeking drug help. The Scientology organization continues to abuse the human rights of its own members and continues to harass its critics. Additionally, the Church of Scientology in Canada is a criminally-convicted organization.

Since January, 2008, Vanonymous has been organizing peaceful protests against the Scientology organization. We have handed out thousands of flyers, raising public awareness of the dangers of the CoS and their many insidious front groups.
